Location: Sprocket Ranch Endurocross 7319 NW CR 0150, Rice, TX, 75155 Duration: 4 Hours Skill Level: Beginners with MSF certification Equipment Needed: Trail appropriate motorcycle, helmet, gloves, boots, and appropriate riding gear Course Overview: The Trail Riding Experience (TRE) is tailored for riders who have successfully completed the MSF Dirt Bike School or the MSF Adventure Bike Rider Course. This specialized training builds upon the foundational skills acquired in previous MSF courses, guiding participants through the basics of trail riding with a focus on safety, environmental responsibility, and riding techniques specific to off-road environments. Course Objectives: Apply MSF foundational skills to off-road trail riding. Master the essentials of trail safety and navigation. Develop confidence and competence in handling diverse trail terrains. Course Content: Welcome & Safety Briefing (30 minutes): Recap of key skills from prior MSF courses relevant to trail riding. Comprehensive overview of necessary trail riding gear and safety protocols. Basic Trail Riding Techniques (1 hour): Techniques for maneuvering through various off-road conditions such as sand, gravel, and mud. Environmental awareness and trail conservation practices. Effective use of body positioning and bike handling on trails. Guided Trail Ride (2 hours): Practical application of techniques on a controlled trail. Continuous instructor feedback to refine skills and ensure safe riding practices. Debrief & Q&A (30 minutes): Reflection on the ride and discussion of individual experiences. Tips for advancing trail riding skills beyond the introductory level. Opportunity for riders to ask questions and receive advice on personal riding goals. Who Should Attend: This course is specifically designed for riders who have completed either the MSF Dirt Bike School or the MSF Adventure Bike Rider Course and wish to transition into trail riding.
