Chase your dreams

I am and always will be a dreamer. Dreams helped me escape the reality that surrounded me growing up. I did not have access to many things, so I lived in my dreams. My dreams became reality when I found the courage to take the first step and learned to set and achieve goals; however, I learned these skills while I was in the military. A life in service does not allow much time to chase your dreams. This taught me to take advantage of every opportunity that presented itself. Adventure does not require a grand location or extravagant scene. Some of my best adventures are simple and right in front of you. However, sometimes you must learn to see past the expectations of grandeur placed on us by society. I am not telling you to accept your place or live permanently with your situation. I am asking you to look at your life through a different lens. Don’t let others judge your existence on their terms. Live life on your terms.

In the pursuit of my dreams, I have come to understand that my greatest opponent lives in my own head. The internal battles, self-doubt, and moments of hesitation pose challenges that often surpass external obstacles. Yet, this recognition serves as a powerful catalyst for self-reflection, growth, and the unyielding commitment to overcome personal limitations. Embracing this truth is the first step toward triumphing over self-imposed barriers, unlocking a path to personal and transformative victories.

My life experience has given me a deep desire to empower and guide individuals on their journey toward accomplishing their dreams. Having navigated the challenges and triumphs of my own path, I recognize the profound satisfaction that comes with achieving what once seemed impossible. My mission is to share my lessons learned, provide guidance, and instill the belief that every dream is attainable.

I chose to make my dreams come true; I chose to draft my own story. The journey is sometimes long, but the best stories come from the journey, not the destination. The destination is where we tell our stories. Take heart, muster your courage, take the first step, and draft your own story.
